About the Director Brenna Jones

Brenna is a Pipestone Area graduate (whoop!), but now lives in San Jose, California with her husband, Erik.

After graduating from Pipestone Area she went on to the University of Morris where she majored in Theatre and History.

After graduating college she help found The Flower Shop Project theatre company. What is that you ask? The company produces musicals, dramas, agitprop, and comedies utilizing Minnesota's talented writers and actors. She has experience in all parts of theater; directing, acting, play writing, and tech. You may have seen one the shows she directed for the Calumet Players Mary Poppins, as well as I Do! I Do! Directing is one of Brenna's passion but she has also had staring roles and parts, playwriting, set and prop building, publicity, and so much in between that makes shows so successful. She has pretty much covered it all and we are so excited for her to bring all those talents to Scrooge: The Musical.

Outside of the show biz, Brenna loves to cook and throw dinner parties; especially loving Minnesota corn on the cob during the summer...we don't blame her. Playing with her sweet orange kitty, Little Cat, and lately, getting sucked into the soothing videos of power washing on Youtube, again, we get it. She is also a huge hockey fan.

About the Producer & Music Director Reggie Gorter

Reggie holds a Bachelor of Music, Vocal Performance from Oklahoma City University and a Master of Music Education from Northern State University.

Over the years you could see Reggie in many different local projects from Calumet Player shows to directing Pipestone Area School One Act Plays, as well as serving on different boards.

These days you can find Reggie doing private lessons, working at Blue Mounds State Park near Luverne and, of course, the founder, chair, and executive director of AMP.

New for Reggie, she is the new music teacher at Pipestone Are Schools and we are so excited for her to share her knowledge and love for music with our local students.

Most importantly; Reggie is the everything to AMP. Reggie's love for the arts and mentoring the youth of her community shines through on a daily with the work she does during AMP productions, as well as behind the scenes.
