Twilight Concert
Shakespeare, Rock ‘n’ Roll, Broadway, Brass and the launch of our area's Municipal Music Makers group are this summer’s AMP programs culminating in a twilight concert under the stars featuring local trumpeter Zach Ploeger. These educational programs will be for youth through adults concluding with outdoor performances at the Hiawatha Pageant Park. They will have the opportunity to learn Shakespeare, practice the basics of rock ‘n’ roll, sing favorites from Broadway and participate in our community band.
AMP’ed Up Theatre Camp!
The Shakespeare Workshop is now an Acting Workshop.

AMP'ed Up Theatre Camp Calendar
Those in 7th-12th Grades are invited to participate in this beginning to acting workshop. The camp begins July 5 meeting most weekdays 1:30-4:30pm (see your calendar). Camp takes place at the Hiawatha Pageant Park in Pipestone or if weather is bad, it will meet at 221 4th St SE in Pipestone (St. Paul Episcopal Church).
The “AMP'ed Up Theatre Camp”, will be led by Sommer Schaap from Edgerton, MN who will start her senior year of Theatre Fine Arts at Dordt this fall. She will introduce all things acting and theatre to beginning young actors such as improv, stage combat, Shakespearean monologue, choreography and theatre basics. She will be mentored by Brenna Jones and assisted by other AMP Camp staff. This group will perform at the July 22-24 Twilight Concert.
If you are attending both the Broadway Youth program and the Acting Workshop, please bring your lunch.

Youth Rock Band
Participation Fee $25 a month.
Open Enrollment.
5th-12th grade; learn the foundations of modern rock band focusing on guitar, bass, ukulele, drums, keys, and vocals. This program is an ongoing program with open enrollment and meets in Pipestone at Historic St. Paul's (221 4th St SE Pipestone, beware of street construction!).
Youth Broadway Review
Participation Fee $50. Begins June 27.
5th-12th grade Fall of 2022; learn & perform selections from our favorite musicals plus a few pop songs. Selections from some of the following shows; Dear Evan Hansen, Into the Woods, The Greatest Showman, Newsies, Urinetown, Annie and Scrooge to name a few. This evening camp will take place in Pipestone at the Hiawatha Pageant Park.
Twilight Concert
Volunteer participation.
Jr. High through adults making music together, celebrating the musical experience as a community. All instruments are welcome including vocalists. Rehearsals will take place in Pipestone and the schedule will be determined by the participants.
Backstage
Jr. High and High School students interested in helping with sound, lighting, moving equipment, being a stage hand, please express interest by registering below.
